Donate Your Used Items

Donate your gently used items to the Humane Society of Bay County (HSBC) Thrift & Gift store, or come in to shop for unique finds. All proceeds from our thrift store go directly back to our shelter. Everything stays in Bay County, supporting the local community and ensuring your donations make a real impact. Current proceeds go towards the rebuild of our shelter. Read more here.

What We Accept
We welcome a wide range of gently used items, including clothing, shoes, purses, household items, furniture (small pieces), home décor, and more. All items are inspected for quality before being added to the sales floor.

Shop & Give Back
When you shop at HSBC Thrift & Gift Store, you’re helping support the Humane Society of Bay County. The more items donated, the more we can raise for our new shelter. Every purchase and donation will help local animals right here in Bay County.

All donations to the Thrift & Gift are tax-deductible.

Donations of new or gently used merchandise are accepted. All item(s) should be gently used, clean and, if applicable, in working condition. Item(s) should have all parts and power cords if applicable.

Review our donation list of items we accept and items that we don’t.

Drop off: All donations should be dropped off through the front. Our new store location on Beck Avenue in St. Andrews is much smaller than our previous location. Please contact the store before dropping off any furniture donations to ensure we can accommodate your item.

Donation Drop off Hours:
Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sunday & Monday CLOSED
Kindly bring all items during store hours.
Please do not leave items outside.

We offer FREE pickup of small furniture items within a 30-minute radius of our store location. Because our new store location is much smaller than our previous location, we are limiting furniture pickup. Items must be small enough to fit safely on our store floor, and there must be available space for us to display the item. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding—this helps us ensure that every consigned or donated piece can be properly showcased for shoppers and keeps our store organized and welcoming for everyone.

Upon arrival, staff have the right to refuse pickup if the item(s) are not in resellable condition.
You may upload photos of item(s) here prior to setting up an appointment.

  • Items must be located on the first floor of the home or have elevator access
  • Items must be disassembled and ready to move
  • Pickup is limited to furniture only

We’ve partnered with ReSupply. A national company that works with local veterans to help the local community and non-profits. If we’re not able to pick up your items, ReSupply may be able to help!

  • Pickups within 48 hours
  • ANY Items of ANY condition picked up
  • Item retrieval from anywhere, including within a residence or a storage unit
  • Disassembly of items that need it (except doors, cabinets, or lighting)

ReSupply charges a small fee for the services it provides. Pick up fee reflects the operating costs and is much smaller than a usual moving company or junk hauler fee (fee is not tax-deductible, but donated items are).

For questions or support, please call (857) 342-4937 or email [email protected]. ReSupply is an independent company and is not affiliated with the Humane Society.
