Kona ( Male : Neutered 1 1/2 Years )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Hound mix- Tan/White 45lbs

Kona was rescued from Bay County Animal Control. He was found as a stray and no one claimed him.
He is quite the character because he is always jumping around, having a blast when nothing is going on. Kona, party of one! His favorite thing to do is hug.
Some obedience training is still necessary because his hugs can turn into excessive jumping and he may be too overwhelming for small children and older dogs.
He is high energy and would need a lot of land or a large yard to run around when not snuggled up on your couch.

Miranda ( Female : Spayed 1 Year )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Bulldog mix- Brown/White 50lbs

Miranda was originally found by animal control as a stray and no one claimed her. We pulled her and brought her to our shelter late December of 2019. She was adopted in February but brought back late March due to the owner having medical problems.
She is very sweet and loves other dogs when properly introduced. She can be an alpha female when playing so she would do well around dogs that are not alphas also. A large yard is a must because she is high energy.

Clancy ( Male : Neutered 6 Months )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Shepherd mix- Black/Tan

Clancy was brought in with 6 other siblings. They were transferred from another rescue group.
As you may be able to tell from her picture, he is very shy and will need more time than a normal puppy to get adjusted people. We will try to get more pictures as he gets comfortable but right now all he will do is cower. He is still sweet and loving, not a mean bone in is body. He will even let you hold him like a baby.
We are not accepting any walk-ins to meet the animals. If seriously interested, you will need to fill out an adoption application at adoptme.org for the specific animals you would possibly like to adopt. Once your application is approved, we will call you and set up an appointment for you to come in.

Patrick ( Male : Neutered 3 Years )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Black Mouth Cur Mix- Brown/Black

Patrick was rescued from Bay County Animal Control. He was found as a stray and no one claimed him so he was then put up for adoption. Patrick is sweet and seems to have a good temperament in his kennel. He is full grown and weighs about 40 pounds. He seems to be ok with the other dog, cats are still unknown. Patrick does well around all the staff but we have not yet seen how he does with children since he just came in. Some basic training is still needed such as leash walking, sit, stay ect.

Casey ( Female : Spayed 1 Year )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Lab/Retriever Mix- Black/white

Casey was rescued from Bay County Animal Control. She was found as a stray and no one claimed her, so she was then put up for adoption. She is a goofy, playful sweetheart who knows basic commands like sit and stay. She is full grown and weighs approximately 55 pounds. Casey seems to do well around the other dogs, not sure about how she does with cats just yet. She is very sweet and does well with all our staff. We believe she would do great around kids, however she does tend to jump up from excitement. She would probably still need some basic training such as leash training and for jumping up on people.

Bella ( Female : Spayed 1 Year )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Bloodhound/Lab mix- Brown/Tan

Bella was surrendered along with her brother Scout (the one without the red leash). We are trying to adopt them out together because they do seem to be bonded. There will be no adoption fee discount.
Unfortunately, if they are to hard to adopt out due to the stipulation of them having to go together, we will eventually have to separate them for there own well being and to give them a better chance at being adopted. This is to avoid them spending a long and damaging amount of time in a kennel.
They were surrendered due to being escape artists and upsetting the neighbors. If you adopt them (or one) you will be responsible for keeping them contained and figuring out what works best for them. They may just have to be dogs that strictly get leash walked and monitored at all times when in a yard. If you fall in love with them that is truly not a hard task nor a deal breaker.

Scout ( Male : Neutered 1 Year )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Bloodhound/Lab mixes- Brown/Tan

Scout was surrendered along with his sister Bella (the one on the red leash). We are trying to adopt them out together because they do seem to be bonded. There will be no adoption fee discount.

Kirby ( Male : Neutered 10 Years )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Boxer mix- Red

Kirby was a rescue from Bay County Animal Control. He was found as a stray and no one claimed him so he was put up for adoption.
He is underweight and needs to be on a specific diet of puppy chow 3 times daily. So far we have noticed he is very calm and docile. He walks well on the leash. We are unsure how he does around little kids and cats.
Approximate weight is 40lbs but full grown and healthy he should be at least 55lbs.

Dozier ( Male : Neutered 1 Year )

OK with Cats: Unknown

OK with Dogs: Yes

Labrador Retriever mix- Dark Grey/White

Dozier was a rescue from Bay County Animal Control. He was found as a stray and no one claimed him so he was put up for adoption.
From what we can tell so far, he is very strong on the leash and his size may intimidate little kids. He has a great personality and is very goofy and loving. Since he is still so young a large yard is required. No apartments. Some training will still be required.
Approximate weight is 60lbs and he is full grown.
