Dog Body Language & Signs of Stress
October 14 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am
This hour-long in-person class is designed to teach you how dogs use their bodies to communicate. It is important to know dog body language for safety and to help identify stress in dogs. By identifying body language you can help avoid stressful situations. By the end of this class, you will have a better idea of what body language a dog uses when relaxed, or uncomfortable, and signs that may even lead to aggression.
You will learn about: ear position, lip licking, bodies- relaxed and stiff, hard and soft eyes, tail position, yawning, mouth position, and more.
Managing unruly behavior is hosted by The Humane Society Thrift & Gift and instructed by Nancy Bown from Dog-Harmony in Santa Rosa Beach. (people only, no pets please)
