What a great day it was at Buzz Leonard Subaru on Saturday, December 19th! The back bay of the dealership was full of folks with their dogs and children, all to get a photo with Santa. Yes, and at the end of the day, there was one kitty who got a photo-op with St. Nick as well.
The set was made up of large blow-up Christmas characters, wrapped presents, an antique old-fashioned sleigh, and of course the jolly ole' man himself.
"The crowds kept coming in, but everything went smoothly and orderly." said Mike Dallett, owner of the Subaru Dealership.
"I was very surprised at the large turn out. I think it was a wonderful event, and I am happy to make the donation to the Humane Society of Bay County."
Mr. Dallett partnered with the ASPCA Organization to host a "Share The Love" event. The Humane Society was the chosen local non-profit to coordinate the event with. " Lorrie Black and I decided on the "Pictures with Santa" said Mr. Dallett. "It was the perfect event for this time of year. We decided that the pictures would be free of charge to the public and that the dealership would donate $10.00 for ever photo taken."
There were raffle games, free giveaways, hot dogs and refreshments for all to enjoy. "Everyone had a good time and we ended up raising over $2,100.00 for the Humane Society, between the two events we had." Mr. Dallett noted.
